Home Depot
Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank are the owners of Home Depot. They started off working at a store called Handy Dan's which they were fired from. They then decided to open up there own place. The two worked hard and ran into many problems but after awhile it started working out. They opened chains up in Miami Canada and South America as well as other places. In less that two decades Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank's Home Depot had become the world's largest dealer of home improvement goods. The rules that these two followed that helped them achieve such great success were give excellent customer service, take care of your people, develop entrepreneurial spirit, Build strong relationships with people, take care of your share holds, give back to your community, do the right thing, and respect all people. Success at home depot also comes also from how the encourage customers to do it themselves. Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank achieved such great success because they already had alot of knowledge in their field and they had the right attitude and business owning rules to get them far.
